...for your Riding Lessons?
Our Riding Lesson program is the brainchild of owner/coach, Penny Nicol,
who is extremely dedicated to the advancement of her pupils. Whether it
is a beginner or advanced English or Western rider, the riding program
is always structured for MAXIMUM progress. Good natured but serious,
the lessons even include photography & video use, to help students realize
their riding goals. Penny attends clinics across Ontario every year, with
top Riders and Trainers in all disciplines, to bring students an up to date
& well thought out program. Penny has also developed a fantastic breeding
program, producing very quiet & rideable Canadian Warmbloods & AQHA
Reining and Western Pleasure horses. Penny herself competes in Canadian
Warmblood breed shows, as well as in dressage, jumper, and western shows
during the summer months. Penny has been riding and training horses since
she was a child, and her passion for training both horses AND riders in order
to compete locally & Provincially is the goal of the program. A well rounded
coaching program and a passion for excellence means we have you covered!

...for your guided ATV TOUR?
Our ATV tours are private, small groups, so you get maximum bang
for your buck! Our tours take in the wilderness surrounding Algonquin
Park, and cover a variety of terrain suited to the groups' skill level.
Our smaller groups means you have a much greater chance of seeing
wildlife, and you can stop as often as you wish for pictures & breaks.
Guides are friendly and knowledgeable folks who will do their
utmost to ensure your ride is enjoyable and that you get a tour
geared for your needs, and maximum time on the trails. Our ATV's
are fully automatic, and anyone with a G license of any level can drive!
Tours are booked as required by the customer, so there's no 'schedule'
and we cater to both phone in business as well as the local resort clients.
Because the tours are private, you can ride within your comfort zone,
and all insurance, helmets & required gear are supplied, at no extra cost.
...for your guided DOGSLEDDING TOUR?
As always, our dogsledding tours are small groups of no more
than five sleds, and everyone gets to drive SOLO ~ so no issues
with trying to haul a passenger around! A great value, our tours
run from our private on site dogyard, and utilize our private
trail system which is groomed and features up to 10 km of trail
maintained for the teams. Because your tour is private, you get
all the attention of your guide, and can stop and take photos, and
'hang' with the dogs at your leisure. Because of our setup, children
as young as 8 yrs old have driven a team. We have a SMALL dogyard
with just enough dogs to run the program - so you KNOW they
are well cared for and socialized, and their well being is our priority.
...for your SUMMER CHILDREN'S HORSE CAMP?
A private, 'horses' only' camp program of 10 - 12 campers
means maximum horse time, and fantastic, quality instruction!
We keep our horses year round, so that you know your child will
get a well trained, gentle partner - and with their 'own' horse for
the week, maximum riding progress can be made. We ride for
3-5 hrs per day, and our staff are chosen for their patience and
experience with riding and teaching. Penny is an avid 'foodie' and
the kids never fail to rave about our meals, which are home cooked
(many from scrach) & designed for good nutrition during camp week.
Our facility boasts 10 km of trails backing onto an unlimited 'crown' trail
system, accessing lakes & public land. Our new 62 x 120 indoor arena,
60 ' round pen, dressage ring, and a 240 x 130 competition ring complete
with fabulous bright jumps & quality fillers are our tools for a great week!
Best of all, extensive camp photos are posted DAILY to facebook, so
you can enjoy your camp along with your kids - PARENTS love this perk!
...for your TRAIL RIDING EXPERIENCE?
Our horses are fabulous, quiet and well trained animals,
every one capable of jumping a course or riding in an
advanced western program, and are safe for trail riding.
We've been running our trail riding stable for over 12 years
and have some of the best wilderness trails in Ontario, crossing
Beaver dams, lakes and streams, with lots of awesome wildlife
on the move on the trail system. We give pre ride instruction
so you have the skills & tools needed to enjoy a relaxing time on
the trails. Our guides are skilled horsemen themselves, and
are friendly, giving you lots of information about the area.
We use only top quality tack, so that you have a comfortable
and safe trip through the wilderness surrounding Algonquin!
...for your guided SNOWMOBILING TOUR?
We are a small, personal business, and provide private tours
so there is none of the pressure of a large mixed group!
We have a fabulous snowmobile trail system here, and your
guides are very knowledgeable and safety oriented, so you
can relax and enjoy the scenery. Our snowmobiles are two
up machines that are easy to drive and we provide all the suits,
boots and gloves at no extra cost. With tours ranging from
two to six hours, we provide reasonable single & passenger rates,
with the ultimate goal of keeping you riding in your comfort zone!
We care about our clients, and want to make their ride worth the trip.
