HWT GIN FIZZ

Ginny has been with us since birth
and her mother Austin was a fine
mare with tons of ability. We have
been a little slow to put up Ginny's
page because she's so quiet she is
just one of those horses that seems
to disappear into the background and
you forget about her! This summer, at
the age of two, Sean broke her to ride.
A real 'no muss no fuss' experience, she
definitely did not disappoint us! Sean
says she is a really smooth ride and
has a really good mind. This coming
summer she'll be three and ready to
step up as staff horse. I can't wait!

Ginny was so quiet we even used
her as our 'demo' horse to show
our campers how to back a colt
(or filly!) for the first time. Ginny
was quiet as a mouse and the kids
got a real taste of what it's like to
'back' a really well bred horse. If
you don't already know,Ginny's
father is 'Ginnin Cowboy', a really
nicely bred stud from the Babcock
ranch, known for great cowhorses.
I can't wait to see what Ginny looks
like when she is fully mature! She
got her name from dad of course -
her registered name is a takeoff
from dad and grandpa (Tanquery Gin)
and I thought 'Gin Fizz' suited her!

(That was before I realized how quiet she is!)

Here he is - Ginnin Cowboy!
