HIGHLAND WILDERNESS CABINS

We have wonderful, pine cabins with their own pristine, fully private campsites on our farm property.  Each cabin is tucked away in it’s own spot, with full deck, bbq, propane burner, picnice table, fire pit, and outdoor privvy.  Everything is squeaky clean, and geared for those who  love ‘GLAMPING’! If you love the wilderness, and want some elbow room, this is your spot.  Potable water at the gate, five minutes to amenities, yet so far from the hustle and bustle.  Horseback riding, farm fresh produce and eggs, and lots of other great things on site!

BLUE MOON RETREAT
(FIFTEEN MINUTES AWAY, NEAR COMBERMERE)

These reasonably priced Cottages are right on Purdy Lake, close to Combermere and located just outside Purdy, Ontario only fifteen minutes from our farm. With this small town atmosphere you can’t go wrong! These folks are open all year, it’s easily accessed from Highway 62, and they have some really great deals on everything from regular cottages right up to two with sauna/and or Hot Tub, overlooking the lake!

HAY LAKE LODGE
(THIRTY MINUTES AWAY NEAR LAKE ST. PETER)

Erin and Phil Morlock have a great spot on the amazing Hay Lake, which is attached to Drizzle Lake, that goes into the park boundary. A great lake for all types of fishing, they also offer dining and fantastic cottages sprawled lakeside. Clean and well maintained, this is a great retreat for those seeking the brilliant sights and sounds of Algonquin Park! It’s close by – just twenty five minutes from the farm. An amazing spot, great hosts – you can’t go wrong!

McALPINE HOUSE
(FIVE MINUTES AWAY IN MAYNOOTH)

Conveniently located just outside Maynooth, in a Historic Hotel across from the old Railway station, this lovely Hotel has seen travellers from across the globe for more than a hundred years. Your hostess Leah, if dedicated to make sure your stay is not just clean and well fed, but friendly and hospitable. Right on the Hastings Heritage trail, its a great spot for people with ATVs, Snowmobiles, or just walkers. THE MADAWASKA LODGE
(FIFTEEN MINUTES FROM FARM, ON MADAWASKA ROAD)

A lovely B&B/Resort tucked away in the woods on a paved road, just 20 minutes from our business. Fully Licensed, with a dining room and home made food, this is a great location for our guests who wish clean rooms and good food. Pine decor, with simple but comfortable rooms, and a great cook in the kitchen! They also offer atv’s for their guests, and ice fishing in winter.  Be sure to tell them we sent you! Located on Madawaska Road, between Madawaska and Maynooth.

THE ASHGROVE INN
(THIRTY MINUTES AWAY, IN BARRYS BAY)

Located in Barry’s Bay, this Motel is very nicely done up, recently renovated, and overlooking lovely Kamineskeg Lake. With attached licensed dining room (and my favorite in the area) and suites for every budget, this is a great spot to check out. The rooms have fireplaces, and jacuzzi tubs, which are great at the end of a long day of dogsledding or snowmobiling! It’s close to Barry’s Bay which has lots of sightseeing and shopping, easily accessed as it is on highway 62. Just 30 minutes from the farm.

BARRY’S BAY COTTAGES
(THIRTY MINUTES, NEAR BARRYS BAY)

An awesome lake, great cottages, and very eco friendly for families! Carson Lake is a deep lake with fabulous swimming, and the cottages have use of a huge trampoline, canoes, etc – so it’s a great one stop location for anyone wishing to enjoy the scenery, lakes, and recreational offerings near Algonquin Park. Located thirty five minutes from the farm, but well worth it! It’s on a gorgeous lake, you can’t go wrong.

LAKEVIEW LODGE

Located between Barry’s Bay and Combermere Ontario, this cottage is on Lake Kamineskeg,has four bedrooms, full kitchen, baths, and is a beautiful executive cottage. Weekends and Weekly rentals.
