These charming cottages are nestled on the shore of Lake St. Peter, just moments from our Riding Stable. Best of all, all units have full access to the lake and a dock. Completely remodelled in 2002, the owners pride themselves on providing a clean, attractive environment for their guests stay, with great service. Check these folks out, they’re reasonably priced, and top notch! Open all year and fifteen minutes from the farm.
BLUE MOON RETREAT
(FIFTEEN MINUTES AWAY, NEAR COMBERMERE)
These reasonably priced Cottages are right on Purdy Lake, close to Combermere and located just outside Purdy, Ontario only fifteen minutes from our farm. With this small town atmosphere you can’t go wrong! These folks are open all year, it’s easily accessed from Highway 62, and they have some really great deals on everything from regular cottages right up to two with sauna/and or Hot Tub, overlooking the lake!
THE ADVENTURE LODGE
(THIRTY MINUTES AWAY, IN WHITNEY)
Located in Whitney Ontario near the Park, Adventure lodge serves meals, the cabins are cozy, with clean clean rooms for a reasonable price. Located right on the Madawaska River, deluxe views! Very good location, with convenience & amenities in Whitney. The owner Ken is fantastic, and I am sure you will find this a great stopover if you are visiting the area. Just 30 minutes north of our location.

THE ARLINGTON HOTEL & PUB
(IN MAYNOOTH – FIVE MINUTES)
This rustic turn of the century hotel features weekend festivities in an on site pub, with clean rooms above the pub for rent at a reasonable rate. Close to the park, and conveniently serviced by the adjacent restaurant and gas station – this is a hostel, so great for budgets! Five minutes from the farm, this historic hotel is on the bus route, with many international travellers & backpackers comingand going on their big adventure through Canada. A rustic hotel with a history, it’s been there since the 1880’s! Centrally located in Maynooth. Greyhound Bus Stop at the doorstep, with a route from Toronto and Ottawa! Be aware, if you don’t have a vehicle, you will have trouble seeing the sights. There is no public transportation but if you give us a ring we can pick you up and drop you off at the hostel doors as it’s only a short way from the farm.
HAY LAKE LODGE

Erin and Phil Morlock have a great spot on the amazing Hay Lake, which is attached to Drizzle Lake, that goes into the park boundary. A great lake for all types of fishing, they also offer dining and fantastic cottages sprawled lakeside. Clean and well maintained, this is a great retreat for those seeking the brilliant sights and sounds of Algonquin Park! It’s close by – just twenty five minutes from the farm. An amazing spot, great hosts – you can’t go wrong!
Fortune’s – It’s a wonderfully cozy little stopover for anyone wanting that little extra touch. Just outside Barry’s Bay, and 35 minutes from our business, iit boasts fine dining pleasure, lovely rooms, and a fantastic host and hostess that will show you what the word welcome really means! A great choice for someone who wants some meals included, and that special touch of a little added class! Nancy is your hostess,and she’ll take good care of you! Open year round, right on Hwy 60.

THE MADAWASKA LODGE
(FIFTEEN MINUTES FROM FARM, ON MADAWASKA ROAD)
A lovely B&B/Resort tucked away in the woods on a paved road, just 20 minutes from our business. Fully Licensed, with a dining room and home made food, this is a great location for our guests who wish clean rooms and good food. Pine decor, with simple but comfortable rooms, and a great cook in the kitchen! Be sure to tell them we sent you! Located on Madawaska Road, between Madawaska and Maynooth.

(FIFTEEN to TWENTY MINUTES FROM FARM, NEAR COMBERMERE)
It might sound wierd, but it’s pretty popular! Best of all, it’s fifteen to twenty minutes away and it’s very affordable. Combermere has many hidden attractions including a crown land peninsula on Negeek Lake that has a really nice, kid friendly “beach au naturel” that is accessible by car, and by boat! And Negeek, Kamineskeg, and Conroys Marsh means ninety miles of waterway at your disposal!

Ron and Elaine have a lovely spot on a hilltop overlooking a valley – upscale and new, very bright suites, and just thirty minutes from the farm. Gorgeous fireplace to enjoy during winter, and close to all the great things to see and do in the area. Not your average B&B! The guests rave about this one.

Located in Barry’s Bay, this Motel is very nicely done up, recently renovated, and overlooking lovely Kamineskeg Lake. With attached licensed dining room (and my favorite in the area) and suites for every budget, this is a great spot to check out. The rooms have fireplaces, and jacuzzi tubs, which are great at the end of a long day of dogsledding or snowmobiling! It’s close to Barry’s Bay which has lots of sightseeing and shopping, easily accessed as it is on highway 62. Just 30 minutes from the farm.
BARRY’S BAY COTTAGES

An awesome lake, great cottages, and very eco friendly for families! Carson Lake is a deep lake with fabulous swimming, and the cottages have use of a huge trampoline, canoes, etc – so it’s a great one stop location for anyone wishing to enjoy the scenery, lakes, and recreational offerings near Algonquin Park. Located thirty five minutes from the farm, but well worth it! It’s on a gorgeous lake, you can’t go wrong.
