our stallion selections

for our quality broodmares

our broodmares

We only use mares who have proven themselves to be good riding horses, and who passed their inspections with premiums.  Each mare is selected based on depth of pedigree, and what they can bring to the table as producers. And of course, a good temperament is a MUST.

Broodmare ‘Becca C’ (Indoctro/Corrado/Concorde)

our feeding program

Nutrition is important not just during pregnancy and gestation, but throughout their lives.  Quality hay, and low starch feed produces stronger babies, with research pointing to a correlation between low starch feeds and OCd reduction in offspring

Broodmare ‘VDL Winner H’ (Emilion/Libero H/Jasper)

our mission statement

To breed only the best mares we can find, to the best semen we can afford!  It’s difficult to develop a band of quality mares with the right genetics to produce champions.  We are VERY picky in our selection of hanoverian, oldenburg, kwpn, and GOV mares, and it shows!

Broodmare ‘Free Thinking’ (Freedom Z/Wembley/Hill Hawk)

those great minds

It’s so difficult to find those stellar individuals who have great bodies but an even greater mind. And good balance is fundamental to producing athletes! If we can’t ride them, we don’t breed them!!

Imported broodmare ‘Pirona’ (Jacardo/Kupferburg Gold)

new blood or old?

Everyone gets caught up in the new ‘latest greatest’ stallions, but there’s also the promise that foundations are built on the tried and true bloodlines of the past.  It’s so important to keep current, but in the process, not forget that proven bloodliens are solid and true.

Broodmare ‘Early  Girl’ (Earl/Pik L/Grand Ferdinand)

Our 2021 Foals

Blue Horse Rockefeller - temperament plus movement!
Island Time HWT (Furstbischof x Pirona)

This foal likely be dark, have some size (Rockefeller is 16.3 and Tiki is 16.2HH) and have an amazing amateur friendly temperament. Blu Hors Rockefeller is one of my favorite stallions!

Blue Hors Rockefeller’s fantastic type and conformation are complimented by an outstanding performance pedigree representing a high degree of breeding certainty and very strong competition traits.  Blue Hors Rockefeller had a severe accident at the age of 2.5 years and broke the hoof bone of his right front leg. Therefore he has not been able to have a career in sport, but he has had a wonderful career as a sire. He is out of one of Germany’s strongest performance dam lines, and he has produced excellent depth of quality and rideability in foals.

Here’s a great video of him https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ls5DehtVi8&feature=youtu.be

D’EGALITÉ - promising son of Don Juan de HUS
Early Girl (Earl x Pik L)

We have a lovely 2020 colt by this cross!  D’Egalite stands 17 hands, with a lovely black coat, one of the best sons of Don Juan de HUS.  He won his sport test in Verden in a large group of quality individuals, and is an even tempered stallion with great appeal. He stands at Gestut Bonhomme in Germany. He was victorious in L-level young horse tests (scores 8.5), qualified for the Prestigious Bundeschampionat with 8.2, won his first young horse test at L level, and also at A level.   Dam ‘Seven’, by the multi talented Hanoverian stallion ‘Earl‘, generally throws a very nice disposition, like herself.  She is an imported Hanoverian inspected and approved in Germany.  She did some jumping before breeding. Colt is weaned & ready to go to his new home.
