our stallion selections

for our quality broodmares

our broodmares

We only use mares who have proven themselves to be good riding horses, and who passed their inspections with premiums.  Each mare is selected based on depth of pedigree, and what they can bring to the table as producers. And of course, a good temperament is a MUST.

Broodmare ‘Becca C’ (Indoctro/Corrado/Concorde)

our feeding program

Nutrition is important not just during pregnancy and gestation, but throughout their lives.  Quality hay, and low starch feed produces stronger babies, with research pointing to a correlation between low starch feeds and OCd reduction in offspring

Broodmare ‘VDL Winner H’ (Emilion/Libero H/Jasper)

our mission statement

To breed only the best mares we can find, to the best semen we can afford!  It’s difficult to develop a band of quality mares with the right genetics to produce champions.  We are VERY picky in our selection of hanoverian, oldenburg, kwpn, and GOV mares, and it shows!

Broodmare ‘Free Thinking’ (Freedom Z/Wembley/Hill Hawk)

those great minds

It’s so difficult to find those stellar individuals who have great bodies but an even greater mind. And good balance is fundamental to producing athletes! If we can’t ride them, we don’t breed them!!

Imported broodmare ‘Pirona’ (Jacardo/Kupferburg Gold)

new blood or old?

Everyone gets caught up in the new ‘latest greatest’ stallions, but there’s also the promise that foundations are built on the tried and true bloodlines of the past.  It’s so important to keep current, but in the process, not forget that proven bloodliens are solid and true.

Broodmare ‘Early  Girl’ (Earl/Pik L/Grand Ferdinand)
